A Taste of the Season

A Taste of the Season is set to be Company OnStage’s most exciting event of the year—an inaugural celebration of theatre, creativity, and culinary artistry bringing together families, local businesses, culinary enthusiasts and theatre lovers to kick off our 2026–2027 Season. At the heart of the event is a baking competition, where local bakers and bakeries go head-to-head to craft spectacular cakes inspired by each show in Company OnStage’s upcoming season. Cakes will be prepared off-site and presented to a panel of judges. Once the winners are decided, the cakes will be showcased at a lively public tasting and award ceremony that brings together local foodies, creatives, and community members alike. Additionally, competitors are encouraged to engage their supporters and pursue the Fan Favorite award, with voting available onsite and online. All proceeds support professional‑quality theatre at an affordable price at our theatre located in Southwest Houston.

11am – Doors open to the public
2:30pm – Awards Presentation
