This Library Day at COS we are honored to partner with the Bright Like Lucy Fund. For our production of “Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder”, it seemed fitting to partner with an organization founded in the memory of another glasses-wearing, bold, and inspiring young girl. Lucy Dillion was a bright and kind-hearted eight-year-old, who tragically lost her life in 2025 with 27 other young girls during the major flooding event in Central Texas. To honor Lucy’s memory, her family created the Bright Like Lucy Fund to make a difference by opening doors for other kids to dream big, play hard, and live brightly. They offer coaching, scholarships and financial support to help transform a child’s potential into success.
