Whether you’re new to the stage or a seasoned performer, now is the time to get involved. We’re casting two exciting productions for the fall: a lively Young Audiences sci-fi comedy and a beloved classic of British theatre.
Kid Frankenstein
Adapted from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein by Kathryn Schultz Miller
Directed by Kathryn Noser
A family-friendly reimagining of the classic tale, Kid Frankenstein follows science nerds Frankie and Irving as they unleash a monster-sized adventure with the help of an ancient book and a science fair gone wild.

- Roles available for teens, adults, and seniors
- Cold readings from the script
Rehearsals: Sunday & Tuesday evenings starting August 10
Performances: Saturdays and one Sunday matinee in October
Blithe Spirit
Written by Noël Coward
Directed by Mike Marlowe
A sharp-witted, supernatural comedy! In Blithe Spirit, novelist Charles Condomine’s dinner party takes a turn when a séance accidentally conjures his late (and mischievous) first wife, leading to a ghostly love triangle and hilarity.
Casting:
-
- 7 adult roles (ages mid-20s to 65)
- All roles require a posh British accent; Madame Arcati should also be prepared with an Italian accent
- Cold readings from the script
- A one-minute monologue is encouraged but not required
Rehearsals: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings beginning August 11
Performances: Fridays, Saturdays, and one Sunday matinee in October
Please Note: All roles are unpaid.
Bring a resume and headshot, if available (not required).
Come prepared to move, read, and make bold choices!
- Support COS: The Company OnStage is preparing to announce our upcoming 2025-2026 season. For the first time in our history, we are paying market value rent for our performance space, and we’re feeling the financial impact. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help us continue creating incredible theatre experiences for our community. (Donate)
- Volunteer With COS: We need Hospitality Volunteers for upcoming productions in our 2025-2026 Season. These volunteers help usher, work concessions, or run our box office table (training required) at each performance. To show our appreciation, Hospitality Volunteers will get to see the show they work at no cost, if seats are available. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at info@companyonstage.org. (Sign Up)
